Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the use of fragrant substances (usually ‘essential’ oils distilled from flowers, resins, woods, and roots) to treat physical and emotional disorders such as headache, inflammation, stress and anxiety as well as a wide range of other aliments. Essential oils are either inhaled, or absorbed directly through the skin during massage or a bath. It is often combined with massage since essential oils from botanical sources have powerfully therapeutic anti-viral, anti-biotic and anti-fungal properties.

Aromatherapy supports treatment for:

  • respiratory issues
  • skin disorders
  • immune deficiencies
  • depression
  • hormone imbalances
  • tense muscles
  • toxin build-up
